Baroka coach Matsimela Thoka says his side struggled in advanced positions in their 2-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Lyle Lakay (56') and Themba Zwane (90+1') were both on target as Denwin Farmer (88') saw red for Bakgaga.
The result saw Thoka's side remain in eighth place on the DStv Premiership with three wins from 10 games.
Speaking after the game, the coach told SuperSport: "A difficult game, but we tried. You can see, first half we weren't ourselves the way I was expecting. I tried to manage to go second half zero-zero.
"Coming back from second half, again you see the quality side of Sundowns they will do everything with the ball but our boys were trying and trying.
"But second half we showed that we can do something, it's just that when we get in our final third it's where it matters most. We didn't use the ball well.
"So we need to be patient with the ball because if you lose it and then a team like this can use it more than you so but you can see we played two number tens.
"It's not like I'm defending myself, but we don't have strikers. (Evidence) Makgopa is not there. (Richard) Mbulu, (Jemondre) Dickens they are our typical strikers but we tried the boys showed we can do something but its football for us it's just to go back to the drawing board."
