Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung says the club may look to Bidvest Wits for potential signings.

Motaung admits Amakhosi could do with one or two quality additions to their squad and the Clever Boys may just have what they are looking for.

"If I want something from Wits, I will take one or two depending on the need but when they are in the situation they are in, it's not a gain for me or us as Chiefs," Motaung told SowetanLIVE.

"It is more of do we need anything, or do we need one or two players? Yes.

"Chiefs want quality and we will sign any quality player that is available on the market.

Chiefs are, however, still facing the problem of their transfer ban, which was incurred in February due to the signing of Andriamirado 'Dax' Andrianarimanana.

Motaung added: "But at the moment, we have challenges and we have to live with reality and respect it."
