Kaizer Chiefs received a timely boost on Sunday with the news that Samir Nurkovic was part of the squad that jetted off to Angola for their second leg CAF Champions league clash against Angola's Primeiro De Agosto.
Nurkovic will add a much needed threat in front of goal for the Amakhosi after the first leg ended 0-0.
With the striker missing since the start of the season, Gavin Hunt's charges have struggled in front of goal.
The Serb is part of an 18-man Chiefs squad that will be hoping to progress in the competition.
It won't be easy however, because according to the Chiefs website, Primeiro De Agosto have won three out of three encounters against South African opposition at home.
In 1997, they accounted for Orlando Pirates 2-1, while Gavin Hunt tasted defeat with Wits in 2018, going down 1-0.
Primeiro also claimed the scalp of Mamelodi Sundowns in 2-0 in a CAF Cup encounter in 2003.
If Chiefs win, they will move into the group stages of the CAF Champions League.
