Brian Onyango has thanked the coaching staff and players of Mamelodi Sundowns following his strong start to life at the club.
The 26-year-old Kenyan international centre-back has impressed at the heart of the Brazilians' defence following his signing this season.
The former Maritzburg United defender came up trumps for his new side with the winning goal in a massive Premiership clash with rivals Orlando Pirates last week ahead of helping Downs secure their place in the Group Stages of the CAF Champions League with a convincing 5-1 aggregate victory over Jwaneng Galaxy.
Speaking ahead of taking on Baroka in the league, the commanding Oyango told the Sundowns website: "I want to thank the coaching staff and players for playing a huge part towards me adapting well to the team. However, I still feel that there are still some areas that need improvement."
He added: "It's always a challenge because they play as a team which makes it difficult to penetrate them. It felt good getting on the score sheet and I'm hoping that I can score more. I want to make a positive contribution towards helping the team achieve its goals."
Sundowns next face Baroka FC in an away league clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
