Cape Town - Eric Mathoho and Sibusiso Khumalo look set to miss Kaizer Chiefs' final match of the season, at home to Bidvest Wits on Saturday.

The match at the FNB Stadium kicks off at 15:00.

Central defender Mathoho has been ruled out after he suffered concussion following a collision with Platinum Stars striker, Bonginkosi Ntuli last weekend.

"We observed him after the collision," Chiefs physiotherapist David Milner told the club's website.

"We gave him a few minutes in the second-half but had to substitute him as a precaution.

"Tower (Mathoho) will miss Saturday's match against Bidvest Wits."

Left-back Khumalo was forced to pull out of Monday's training session while centre-back Siyanda Xulu also remains sidelined with a groin strain.

"Sbu is still struggling with his knee injury," confirmed Milner.

"We will continue to assess him, but he will not take part in the Wits game on Saturday."

Goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo meanwhile is doing well in his recovery from an ankle surgery.

"We are happy with Khuzwayo’s progress to full fitness," Milner added.
