Cape Town - Chippa United boss Chippa Mpengesi remains adamant that the in-demand midfield duo of Joseph Molangoane and Thamsanqa Sangweni are not for sale.

The star pair are hot property after an outstanding season in which they helped Chippa secure a top-eight finish in the Absa Premiership.

Both players have reportedly attracted the interest from a number of top clubs in South Africa's top flight.

Mpengesi insists that both players form part of coach Dan Malesela's plans for next season.

"We extended his contract a long time ago and there was a clause on his contract that we must pay a certain amount on his contract on a certain date," Mpengesi told KickOff.

"We paid the amount last week and we even put more, so Joseph Molangoane is not going anywhere and whoever is interested in his services must pay.

"He (Sangweni) is part of the coach's plans and is not going anywhere."
