Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Cape Town City on Tuesday announced the blockbuster signing of former Orlando Pirates attacker Justin Shonga to bolster the Cape side's attacking options.
Shonga joins from new-boys Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) who he had just joined at the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
CT City announced the transfer on their official Twitter account to their more than 200 000 followers. The Citizens confirmed that Shonga had put pen to paper on a three-year deal until June 2024.
The Zambian international will be hoping to rediscover his form that saw him regarded as one of the continent's most dangerous attackers.
Shonga has an impressive record of seven goals in 15 international appearances and recorded 17 goals in 77 appearances for Orlando Pirates.
