- Dillon Sheppard and Arthur Zwane are the new assistant coaches at Kaizer Chiefs.
- Sheppard follows Gavin Hunt to the club from Wits, while Zwane is a former Chiefs player.
- Zwane fills his new position after he was promoted from role of guiding the Chiefs' reserve team.
Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the appointments of Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard as assistant coaches to Gavin Hunt.
Zwane and Sheppard join the Amakhosi backroom staff after the technical team has had a revamp after losing out on the league title to Mamelodi Sundowns on the final day of last season.
Sheppard previously worked on the coaching staff with Hunt at former Bidvest Wits while Zwane has been promoted from his role as head coach of Chiefs' reserve team.
Zwane, who made 252 appearances for Kaizer Chiefs as a player between 2000 and 2010, previously worked as an assistant with the Soweto giants' first team in 2010 until 2012.
The 47-year-old Zwane has also been asked by Molefi Ntseki to be his assistant for international matches since his appointment as the Bafana Bafana head coach.
Amakhosi chairman Kaizer Moutang said on the club's website: "We believe we have put a solid technical team together and we will give them all the necessary support they require.
"The wealth of experience among the three gentlemen is what we need to ensure we compete and build a strong team.
"The fact that Arthur and Dillon will concurrently work with the senior team as well as with our Reserve side means that the transition for the young players to the first team squad will be easier.
"We have an abundance of talent. However, they will need nurturing while we also need to focus on winning.
"Both assistant coaches have youth football experience and we believe they will continue to share their knowledge with our other youth coaches and players."
Hunt has been roped in as head coach at Kaizer Chiefs after the dismissal of German mentor Ernst Middendorp, who failed to guide the Soweto giants to the league title despite holding a 13-point lead at the top of the table at one stage last season.
