They’ve been christened with all sorts of monikers: "The Three Wise Men"; "Shadrack, Meshack and Abednigo"; and "The Three Musketeers".

Call them what you like, but Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana great Doctor Khumalo believes joint Mamelodi Sundowns head coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena, as well as their newly appointed assistant, Steve Komphela, possess great synergy.

It’s a hot pot of coaching talent and a glut of footballing knowledge, which has converged to form a new nucleus at Chloorkop, filling the massive void left by treble winning coach Pitso Mosimane.
