On 19 November 2013, Bafana Bafana bagged a 1-0 win over world champions Spain at Soccer City in Johannesburg that nobody saw coming.

It may have been an international friendly, with nothing else on the line, but it remains one of South Africa's most impressive results on the international stage over the last two troublesome decades.

What made that win even more noteworthy was the quality of the Spanish outfit on the day.
