Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt bemoaned his team's bad luck in front of goal after playing to a goalless draw against Maritzburg United on Monday.
The Clever Boys have now failed to find the back of the net in three of their last four league matches which sees them sitting in third place on the table.
Hunt though revealed he wasn't disappointed with his team's performance against the Team of Choice as they created a number of chances to win the game.
The Wits mentor told the media after the game: "It is disappointing from a result perspective but not from a performance.
"I thought the performance was good under the circumstances and I think we created some really good chances.
"I mean the ball was cleared off the line two or three times there so it's disappointing from that perspective, but all-in-all, I'm not disappointed with the performance.
"Playing all these games, you are tired, and I can see it, but still we should have won the game."
The Students have no time to dwell on recent results as they prepare to take on Bloemfontein Celtic on Thursday.
Hunt added: "We just need to try and get the players back, rest and no preparation, just sleep and we play again."
Wits are next in action against on Thursday (15:30) against Bloemfontein Celtic before meeting Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday (15:30).
