- Coach Gavin Hunt said he does not know whether the Bafana Bafana international was obstructed by Themba Zwane as Sundowns took the lead.
- Amakhosi are back in action on Tuesday night against Chippa United.
Kaizer Chiefs head coach Gavin Hunt is not sure whether goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune was impeded by Themba Zwane during the first goal of Amakhosi's defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Brazilians eased to a 3-0 victory over the Soweto giants last weekend in the opening DStv Premiership clash at FNB Stadium.
Peter Shalulile netted the first goal with his head from a corner-kick, but Khune felt that he was impeded by Zwane as he attempted to clear the ball to safety.
Khune protested but the referee did not agree, and the goal was given the green light.
During the post-match press conference, Hunt was asked whether he felt Khune was obstructed to which he responded with: "I don't know".
He added: "You know it's football, you can't make excuses. Maybe he was. I haven't seen it. He felt he was. But I mean, you know. I don't know, I can't really tell you.
"We didn’t get much going for us today. From that perspective, that's not why we lost. We certainly have to be better. Under the circumstances we'll just keep at it."
The Glamour Boys are back in action on Tuesday against Chippa United as the Premiership resumes.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
