Golden Arrows coach Mandla Ncikazi says the strength in depth at Orlando Pirates makes the club a difficult prospect to prepare for, ahead of their league encounter.

An unbeaten Arrows face a wounded Buccaneers at the Orlando Stadium on Wednesday, with just a point separating the two sides.

While Arrows last saw off Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Pirates suffered a shock defeat to Black Leopards.

And ahead of their midweek DStv Premiership tie, Ncikazi told SuperSport: "The only threat with them is that they can change formation many times in one match and also the personnel.

"So, I am not sure what will happen after the loss (Pirates loss to TTM), whether they will change personnel or the formation."

Ncikazi added: "I focus more on my team. We are prepared to defend well. And if we defend well and use the ball well and come out cleanly in attack, we will come out with a positive result."

Kick-off is at 17:00.
