Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson admits that he expects Ajax Cape Town to pose a real threat to his side in their Absa Premiership encounter.

Dikwena is coming off a disappointing defeat against Polokwane City in Nedbank Cup and will be hoping to get back to winning ways with visiting the Mother City.

“I expect a very difficult challenge as usual. We need points and Ajax need points. It’s very difficult going to Cape Town,” Johnson told the club’s website.

“We need to stay on third. We are going to have to dig deep and probably deeper than what we have been doing now in order to stay where we are.

“It’s a nice challenge for us. We were able to do it going to Cape Town against Kaizer Chiefs. Either we get a point or a draw. We are going to push for everything against Ajax. Hopefully we are able to come away with three points,” said Johnson.

Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, April 13.
