Justin Shonga says he's delighted by the opportunity afforded to him by joining Cape Town City.
The 24-year-old winger joins the Citizens from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila after only signing for the newly-formed DStv Premiership side this season.
A former Orlando Pirates player, Shonga told Soccer Laduma, he is "excited" by the switch.
He said: "I'd like to just appreciate the chairman of the club for taking into consideration signing me to this club.
"Cape Town City is a good club, they've got good players and I’m so excited to join the club."
He added: "I'm happy being here Cape Town is a good place and I'm just looking forward to fitting into the team and have a good time, like work hard with the team and win games, win trophies with the team because it has got a good reputation in terms of winning."
