Kaitano Tembo was disappointed to drop two points as SuperSport United were held to a 2-2 draw with Chippa United.
Andile Mbenyane opened the scoring on 38 minutes at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
Bradley Grobler netted a 49th minute leveller before Thamsanqa Gabuza put Matsatsantsa ahead on 83 minutes.
But Maloisane Mokhele's effort on 87 minutes secured a point for the Chilli Boys.
The result left SuperSport five points behind Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, and Swallows FC in second place, but with a game in hand.
Speaking after the match, Tembo told SuperSport: "We were very positive when we started, but then the mentality changed, we started dropping off. We gave them time and space on the ball and you can't do that with a side like Chippa.
"Our pressing wasn't very good, we played in phases, but we improved in the second half. We played more effective football and scored the two goals. But overall we have no business dropping two points.
"It wasn't a good performance from us, but beside that we created a lot of opportunities and I am disappointed that we dropped the points.
"Scoring goals makes us win games and I am pleased we are an attack-minded team that finds forward solutions, but defensively we have been lacking. Look at the two goals today, we could have done better."
