SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo is looking forward to defending their MTN8 title that begins against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila on Saturday.
Matsatsantsa claimed the 2019 top eight competition, beating Highlands Park 1-0 in the final, with Bradley Grobler scoring the decisive goal.
Tembo's charges travel to Thohoyandou Stadium this weekend, with a new-look team after making six new signings.
They signed George Chigova, Iqraam Rayners, Mpho Mathebula, Keenan Phillips, Luckyboy Mokoena and Lucky Mohomi.
But they face an unknown quantity in TTM, with Tembo telling SowetanLive: "Tshakuma is a dangerous team. We’ve had three weeks to prepare for this game and don’t lack much in terms of fitness. We are in good shape and have not lost too many players from last season."
He added: "It won't be easy. It is going to be the most difficult game that we have played in a while. I can’t hide the fact that I’m worried about them and wish that I knew more about the team that we are facing.
"We still have the core of the team and did not have to start from scratch in terms of our preparation, and that is our biggest advantage."
