Kenneth Nthatheni will play for Black Leopards in the DStv Premiership this season after signing a long-term contract with the club.
The 24-year-old former Orlando Pirates centre-back made his exit from the relegated Polokwane City at the end of last season.
Speaking to KickOff, the player's agent Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi confirmed the move.
He said: "Yes, Kenneth Nthatheni has signed a five-year contract with Black Leopards.
"We would like to thank the club for giving the boy an opportunity."
Black Leopards lost their most recent league game, 1-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday night, with Nthatheni not in the match-day squad.
Up next is a trip to face Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.
