Kosta Papic said he returned to Black Leopards to compete some unfinished business with the DStv Premiership side.
The former Orlando Pirates, Martizburg United, Polokwane City and Royal Eagles boss was in charge of Leopards for the 2014/15 National First Division season where they lost out on promotion to the Premiership.
He was most recently employed by Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak but left just three months into his second stint with the club to joins Leopards as technical manager on a two-year contract.
Speaking to FARPost, Papic said; "That (past relationship with the club) has actually made me finalise the comeback to finish what we started in a proper way.
"Because we started something, but we concentrated on the promotion play-offs. Unfortunately, that first time when I was at Leopards it didn't happen.
"Now we are in the PSL, so let's save the club from relegation and start to do what we discussed."
