Cape Town - Agent Abbie Rasimphi insists that Platinum Stars will get first preference to negotiate a new contract with his client, Mahlatse Makudubela.

The Dikwena dribbling wizard, who has six months remaining on his contract, has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates.

However, Rasimphi has revealed that the final decision will depend on the offer put on the table by Dinaledi.

"From the beginning we mentioned that Platinum Stars would be given first preference on Mahlatse Makudubela," Rasimphi told Soccer Laduma.

"It's true that Makudubela's contract is expiring in June. We are giving Stars first preference because the boy is happy there

"But if Platinum Stars are not ready then we will move on. But for now the boy is happy there. As we all know, we are not talking about just an ordinary player here. We are talking about a talented player here.

"We are not going to be short of options. But he (Makudubela) will only leave if Platinum Stars is saying so."
