Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder George Maluleka has lamented Amakhosi's inability to turn one point into three in the Premiership this season.

The defending champions have not made the best start to their title defence and are currently in fourth place on the table, eight points behind leader Bidvest Wits after 11 rounds of action.

Like the Clever Boys, Chiefs have lost only one match in the league this season while Gavin Hunt's team have won eight and drawn two, AmaKhosi have drawn six and won only four matches.

"Last season we didn't draw many games like we have done this season," Maluleka told Soccer Laduma.

"If we could only have won those games we have drawn, we would be on top of the log.

"That's the main difference between last season and this one. Apart from that, nothing much has changed.

"At Chiefs we play to win every competition we are in."
