Cape Town - Orlando Pirates' red-hot striker Tendai Ndoro believes the club are headed in the right direction following two wins in a row under interim coach Augusto Palacios.

The Sea Robbers pulled off their second consecutive victory against Free State Stars last Saturday, after earlier beating Highlands Park in Palacios' first game in charge.

Ndoro scored in both fixtures as he took his goal tally for the season to nine goals in 11 matches in all competitions played.

Despite his own brilliant form and the Bucs' recent improvement, the club has endured something of an up and down start to the season which culminated in a 6-1 defeat to SuperSport United and former coach Muhsin Ertugral's resignation.

However, the Zimbabwe international now is of the belief that the Ghost Ship are sailing in the right direction towards more bountiful seas.

He told reporters: "So far so good. I'm happy that I'm scoring but I'm not there yet. The team is moving in the right place so we should keep going."

The Mayfair-based outfit next face struggling Chippa United in a Premiership clash on Tuesday in Port Elizabeth.

Kick off is at 19:30.
