Cape Town City boss John Comitis has rubbished the idea that Thabo Nodada could leave the club this season.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been a key member of the Citizens' squad over the past few seasons.

Comitis has also been forced to dismiss Kermit Erasmus exit rumours, after Mamelodi Sundowns made enquires for the player early on last season.

Speaking to KickOff, Comitis explained: "I saw it in the media, and I am laughing. I am waiting to see what is coming out.

"Nodada is not going anywhere. There was an opportunity for Turkey, but it hasn't come through. At this stage he is staying."
