Despite a disastrous run of eight matches without a win, including Sunday’s 4-0 defeat to Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League, Gavin Hunt remains the best candidate to be head coach of Kaizer Chiefs.

After the weekend's humiliation, things could simply not be any worse for Hunt in his first season in charge.

Chiefs currently sit in 10th position in the PSL standings with a record of 4 wins, 7 draws and 6 defeats - a haul of 19 points after 17 matches played.
