Owen Da Gama says he's delighted to be back in a football after accepting the job as head coach of TS Galaxy.
The 56-year-old was last employed by Highlands Park who were bought out by Galaxy.
Dan Malesela was handed the position but after a poor start to the DStv Premiership campaign, he was dismissed.
Da Gama is now ready to help the top-flight new boys turn their season around.
He told KickOff: "Ja look, I'm very excited and happy to be back in football.
"You know this period that I was off for three months, I think God was busy pruning me. And I did a lot of reflection. I sat down and I said to myself, 'What can I do to be a better coach? What can I do to improve, to be a better human being?' And I also got closer to God.
"So, I've been watching most of the PSL games and I've also been watching the TS Galaxy games just out of interest you know, because I know a few of the players there."
He added: "It's going to be a process to get this team right. It's all about getting the cohesion right, getting unity in the team, getting the right combinations and also getting the players physically in good condition."
Galaxy are back in action on Saturday against Chippa United.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
