Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane admitted that he had no excuses after the 3-1 loss against Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday.

Mosimane could not make any arguments against the shocking upset at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The former Bafana Bafana international also refused to place the blame on the referee as Sundowns suffered their first loss in 23 domestic games.

"I don't want to talk about the man in the middle, I've never spoken about any man in the middle," Mosimane told Soccer Laduma.

"Now we lost, now we must speak about about the man in the middle, no, the season will finish without me speaking about the man in the middle.

"The game was fair, he gave us a penalty, so we should not blame referees when we lose. Sometimes they do well, sometimes they don't do well.

"We lost the match in the first 10 minutes, if you can't build-up, you have to play the other side. I think they (Arsenal) played well, we didn't sit back."
