The Premier Soccer League has reminded South African clubs that the current transfer window will close at midnight on Monday.

The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in a five-month break from all football this year, which consequently threw the season's transfer windows out of whack.

The PSL announced on Monday morning that the current window will shut at midnight, while also adding that the mid-season window will open on February 1.

"PSL transfer window closes tonight. The Premier Soccer League domestic transfer window will close today, 30 November 2020 at midnight," the statement read.

"The second domestic transfer window will open on 1 February 2021 until 1 March 2021."
