Cape Town - Following a meeting on Thursday, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Executive Committee resolved to seek leave to appeal the judgement handed down by Judge Denise Fisher of the Gauteng High Court on the July 2, 2018.

The committee confirmed that full particulars will be provided after a meeting of the National Soccer League (NSL) Board of Governors that has been called for Thursday, July 12.

On Monday, Ajax Cape Town's relegation to the National First Division has been overturned by Judge Fisher after she ruled in favour of the club on the Tendai Ndoro saga.

Before announcing her verdict at the courthouse on Monday, Judge Fisher reserved judgement to properly overlook facts and arguments in the matter.

The ruling sets aside the decision of SAFA Arbitrator William Mokhari, who docked the Urban Warriors seven points for fielding Ndoro after the Zimbabwe international represented three different teams in one season.

That led to Ajax Cape Town's relegation from the Absa Premiership at the end of the season, as they finished in last place on the log.
