Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena is feeling good about the team's preparations for Wednesday night's Premiership clash with Cape Town City.
Masandawana were knocked out of the MTN8 at the quarterfinal stage, which gave them more time to prepare for the upcoming City encounter.
Although disappointed with the result, a 1-0 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic, Mokwena was pleased to have more time to integrate new signings into the team.
"The good thing is we've had time on the [training] pitch, time to work on a couple of schemes and routines," Mokwena told the Sundowns media team.
"It's given us a little bit of time to induct and try to introduce some of the new players into our way of working, and facilitate synergy amongst our players.
"So the preparations have been going well, the training has been very, very good and we're looking forward to the next encounter against Cape Town City."
