Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rhulani Mokwena says the upcoming clash with Chippa United is a must-win after the recent CAF Champions League defeat.
Masandawana lost 2-0 to CR Belouizdad of Algeria at Loftus last week, but they still finished top of Group B to progress into the quarterfinals.
Mokwena has made it clear that a club like Sundowns should not go two games without a win, which is why he sees Monday's Chippa encounter as vital.
The former Orlando Pirates coach also explained that Sundowns will not be distracted by Chippa's off-field drama, following the hiring and firing of Luc Eymael.
"No, we are not worried about what is happening at Chippa. We have to focus and win the game, especially on the back of the Champions League results," said Mokwena.
"We have a little bit of pressure to make sure that we win the game against Chippa. We can never go for two games without a good result at Sundowns. It would be a disaster. It's an important game for us."
He added: "They can create a lot of problems for us. They are a great team with great players. We will not underestimate Chippa and we will do our homework to prepare the players for this important game.
"Losing our champions league game shows that we are not invincible and can lose, but we take a lesson from this defeat. We lost a game that has no consequences, but learned a lesson from this match."
Kick-off is at 15:00.
