Cape Town - Orlando Pirates midfielder Issa Sarr is confident the team can make it back-to-back Soweto Derby wins when they resume hostilities against Kaizer Chiefs.

The Buccaneers cruised to an impressive 3-1 win over Amakhosi in the Premiership last weekend and the bitter rivals will step straight back into the ring on Saturday for the Telkom Knockout semi-final.

Sarr, who scored the opener at the FNB Stadium last weekend, is hopeful of driving a second nail into Chiefs' coffin, telling Soccer Laduma: "Our plan was to close them down in the midfield and when we closed them down they would not supply their strikers, and that's why they had very few chances.

"It wasn't just the midfielders who worked hard but the whole team, as you could see that Gabuza was helping in defence as well and as midfielders we were also helping in attack.

"As for the coming Saturday, we want to win again. We didn't start the season very well and we want to continue winning whether it's a derby or not.

"If we play the way we did on Saturday then we can do it again. All the players want to win again on Saturday."

Kick-off is at 15:00.
