AmaZulu's marquee signing Siphiwe 'Shabba' Tshabalala believes it's possible for the club to finish in the top four this season but admits it will be tough.
Usuthu overhauled their squad this week with 10 new signings, including Shabba and Pirates star Luvuyo Memela, and the club owner Sandile Zungu is now aiming for a top-four finish with the new-look team.
AmaZulu battled against relegation last term but Shabba reckons they have the quality now to challenge for a top-four finish in the DStv Premiership.
“I wouldn’t say it’s impossible (to finish in the top four), it’s difficult but it can be achieved," Shabba said, according to TimesLIVE.
"I’m happy with the decision that I took and I’m here because I want to be here, not because I have to be here.
“It’s a challenge.
"I’m coming to a team that’s been struggling in the league for six or seven seasons. It’s a challenge for me [but] I’m up to the challenge as well.
“I’m still hungry and as long as I’m still on the field I will have that hunger in me, I will always challenge myself.”
