Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs captain Siphiwe Tshabalala says that he will start working his socks off in order to hit the back of the net more often.

According to Kaizer Chiefs website, the attacking midfielder says that he believes he is a team player when it comes to contributing.

“I want to believe that I am a team player and I work very hard,” Shabba said.

“I think I have done well once again in terms of assists [but] I need to work on scoring more goals and challenge myself as well so that I am not in a comfort zone.

“This is a new year and new challenges as well so I will work very hard to get more assists and try to score more goals as well.”

Meanwhile, Chiefs have a mouth-watering Absa Premiership clash this weekend against old foes, Bloemfontein Celtic, on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
