SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule says his focus is on winning the DStv Premiership amid rumours of interest in his services from Kaizer Chiefs.

The 22-year-old has been a shining light in an exceptional season for Matsatsantsa, that sees the club occupy second place on the league standings after 17 games, just four points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, although having played a game more.

Amakhosi are unable to sign any players until the completion of a FIFA ban, but that hasn't stopped media reports circulating of a big-money move to the Soweto giants in the near future.

Speaking to KickOff, the former Orlando Pirates youth team player said: "I want to win the league [with SuperSport United], then move overseas and be a regular at Bafana Bafana, that's my focus."

"I need to focus on being a better player, create and score more goals for the team."
