Cape Town City head coach Jan Olde Riekerink has hailed the performance of star forward Surprise Ralani against Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 32-year-old scored a brace at Loftus Versfeld as the Citizens edged Masandawana 3-2 in a pulsating Absa Premiership encounter on Monday evening.
"Surprise Ralani can play fantastic in between the lines and he's like a magician in his choices. Nobody can teach him," said the Dutch mentor during a virtual post-match press conference.
"You can only bring him [in the game] as a team in the right position and that is a compliment as a team but also a compliment to him."
Riekerink also highlighted the performance of Mdu Mdantsane, who joined the club at the start of January after being released from Baroka FC.
"Mdu, he came [to] us this season. I must compliment the scouting and the club... they found this player because he developed in a very short time," Riekerink said.
"He is everywhere on the pitch. He is also very creative."
The victory moved City up to seventh place as they broke into the top half of the Absa Premiership table.
Meanwhile, the Brazilians remain in second place and find themselves now six points adrift of log leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
City will now face-off against Stellenbosch FC in a Cape-derby to be held in Pretoria at the Tuks Stadium on Thursday evening.
Kick-off is at 18:00.
