Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler was less than satisfied despite seeing his side clinch a 1-0 victory over Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday evening.

The Buccaneers were pushed all the way to the wire in the first half as Celtic went close to claiming the lead on more than one occasion.

However, Tinkler's men managed to produce an improved performance after the half-time break, breaking the deadlock through Mpho Makola's deflected free-kick in the 47th minute.

Despite claiming back-to-back wins, Tinkler felt his players were quite fortunate to claim all three points on the night.

"I think they dominated the first 45 minutes; second-half we made a slight improvement, but still we obviously got a bit lucky with the goal," Tinkler told SuperSport.

"But it was still a good free-kick by Makola. They came at us, but we managed to hold on."

The end of the clash was marred by ugly scenes as a section of Celtic and Bucs supporters clashed behind the goals.

Tinkler added: "I'm obviously disappointed to see what has happened [in the stands] right at the death."
