Siphiwe Tshabalala says all he can do is wait, as his search for a new club remains on hold.

The 35-year-old former Bafana international has been playing in Turkey with BB Erzurumspor since leaving Kaizer Chiefs in 2018.

He was set to be on the move again though with a reported transfer to China, although with all sporting activities suspended as a result of the coronavirus, Tshabalala's plans have been put on hold.

Speaking to the Sowetan, he said: "I'm still going to play but at this moment I'm not thinking about football. Everything has been put on hold.

"We will see after this pandemic but I will be back. There has been interest but I don't want to talk too much about that."

Tshabalala is also a business owner in South Africa, and admits he is struggling to keep things going.

"People don't have money now to pay rent so it is affecting that rental business. At the salon I have employed eight people and we've got three that are full time. At ShaYe we have 12 staff members," he explained.
