Stellenbosch FC left-back Marc van Heerden is eager for maximum points from the side's Western Cape derby with Cape Town City on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
Stellies are without a win in eight matches, including a 3-2 Nedbank Cup loss to Mamelodi Sundowns, and with four losses in their last four league games.
They come into this tie in 13th place on the DStv Premiership standings, ten points behind seventh-placed City.
Speaking ahead of the clash at the Cape Town Stadium, Van Heerden said in the Sowetan that winning a derby will be a massive boost.
He explained: "Winning any derby is great, no matter who you are. Claiming the bragging right is a morale booster.
"It's something that brings a lot of joy in the team and for us winning the derby would be massive because that would get our campaign back on track."
The former Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu defender added: "Obviously, winning the derby will also get us out of where we're at the moment. City are a good team, with some quality individuals, but we're up for the task.
"We will apply ourselves well to make sure we get maximum points."
