Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa has put his weight behind Kaizer Chiefs to become the third South African team to win the CAF Champions League.

Amakhosi are set to take on compatriot Pitso Mosimane's Egyptian giants, Al Ahly, on Saturday, 17 July at the Mohamed V Stadium in Morocco.

Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 (SA time).

Mthethwa believes that the Glamour Boys can "complete the mission" and follow in the footsteps of previous winners Orlando Pirates (1995) and Mamelodi Sundowns (2016).
