Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns have surprisingly revealed that forwards Cuthbert Malajila and Mogakolodi Ngele are in fact still contracted to the African Champions.

It was reported during the off season that the attacking duo had signed for Bidvest Wits, in part of the deal that brought South Africa international playmaker Sibusiso Vilakazi to Chloorkop.

However, the Brazilians have issued a statement claiming that the Students boss Gavin Hunt will not exercise an option of making their 'loan' deal permanent at the end of the campaign.

"The duo currently with Bidvest Wits will have no choice but to report back to Chloorkop after the last league match," read the statement on the club's official website.

"Coach Gavin Hunt has not exercised the option to keep the two players on a permanent deal, as they seem not to be in his plans for the following season."

The experienced Premiership duo have scored 10 goals between them this season for the title chasing Clever Boys.
