Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer is optimistic that Thembinkosi Lorch will be available to play against Chippa United on Saturday.
The 27-year-old picked up an injury early in the game against SuperSport United last month and has subsequently missed two of the Buccaneers' fixtures.
However, Zinnbauer reckons Lorch could be back in action for the Soweto giants on Saturday.
"Lorch is on a good way, he has been working very well in the training sessions. We have to see now in the next two days what's happening with him," the German said in his virtual press conference after the match.
"I hope we get him back on Saturday, I have a good feeling in terms of him."
Meanwhile, the German tactician also revealed that midfielder Nkanyiso Zungu could be back in the fray as well, after falling on his arm on Monday.
"Zungu yesterday [Monday] fell on his arm and he had a swollen arm. He had light training today [Tuesday] but it was not enough for the game," he added.
"Tomorrow [Wednesday] maybe he can go forward and might be available for Saturday."
