It has been revealed that Brighton&Hove Albion have inserted a January recall option in Percy Tau's season-long loan at Anderlecht.
According to the Athletic, there now seems to be growing optimism that the South African star could soon be unleashed in the Premier League.
Amendments to the work regulations in the UK following Brexit could see Tau finally make his mark in England two years after signing for Brighton from Mamelodi Sundowns in July 2018.
Tau spent his first season in Europe in Belgium's second division with Royal Union Saint-Gilliose before a move to the top-flight with Club Brugges.
The 26-year old received valuable Champions League experience coming up against world-renowned teams such as Real Madrid before securing a move ahead of the 2020/21 season to Vincent Kompany's Anderlecht.
Since his move to Belgium, Tau has made 41 appearances scoring 11 goals with 12 assists.
