Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane believes scoring one goal won't be enough to secure victory in Saturday's CAF Champions League first leg quarter-final against Al Ahly.
Sundowns are set to take on the Egyptian giants at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.
The Club of the Century are the most decorated team in the history of the CAF Champions League and Mosimane recognises that it is going to take a massive performance from his team to get a first leg victory at least.
The second leg of the last eight match-up is scheduled for April 13 in Suez, Egypt.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the game, the Downs' mentor said: "One goal is not going to be enough in the Champions League.
"We also need to try not to concede. A 1-1 won't help us, a 0-0 at least (would be better). If it's a draw, there must never be goals conceded."
He added that the contest would be an emotional one for Phakamani Mahlambi, who is playing against his former team following a failed spell in North Africa last season.
Mosimane concluded: "He knows them more than me. Obviously it's a little bit emotional on his side, you've got to understand. He would love to score against them.
"It's nearly the same as Bidvest Wits, when he played. It's going to be the same way, a little bit emotional.
"We need him here at home and try get more than one goal."
Kick-off is at 15:00 in Pretoria.
