Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele has warned his team-mates that they need to respect TS Galaxy ahead of the Nedbank Cup final to be played this weekend.
The Amakhosi will go into the clash as heavy favourites as TS Galaxy campaign in the National First Division (NFD).
Chiefs are also desperate to lift some silverware after what has been a terrible league campaign where they finished a lowly ninth in the standings with their lowest points tally since 1985.
The Soweto giants though will be spurred on by their usual boisterous support base but know they cannot take Dan 'Dance' Malesela's outfit lightly.
Mphahlele said: "We know 'Dance', he's going to play football whether it's against Sundowns, Chiefs or Pirates, they're going to play.
"So, we have to give them the respect. They deserve it because they are in the final, and they deserve to be in the final.
"They didn't get any favour to reach this stage, so we have to give them full respect and know that we're playing a very good team."
The Nedbank final will take on Saturday with kick-off set for 19:00.
