Superstar forward Heung-Min Son was in tears as Korea Republic suffered a 3-2 defeat against Ghana that potentially could knock out the Asian nation from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Black Stars took a first-half two-goal lead courtesy of Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus, but a second-half brace from Cho Gue-sung within three minutes changed the face of the tie.

However, seven minutes after South Korea equalising, Kudus completed his brace as the Black Stars kept hopes of qualifying for the knockout rounds of the prestigious competition.

An emotional Son broke into tears after the full-time whistle, and the Ghana coaching staff attempted to console the Tottenham forward.

Seconds later, one of the Black Stars coaches took out his phone to take a selfie, which he did, as his colleague pushed him away, disapproving of the attempt to take the picture.
