Marco Cecchinato breezed past Danilo Petrovic 6-1, 6-0 at the ATP Tour Sardinia Open on Saturday to set up a Sunday final meeting with Serbia's Laslo Djere.

Djere was beating wildcard entry Lorenzo Musetti in the third set when the Italian pulled out due to injury in his semi-final with the scores at 2-6, 6-2, 4-1.

The impressive Forte Village seaside complex in Sardinia is one of the four new ATP events added to the 2020 schedule.
