
Plan ahead
Decide which days of the week you’ll exercise and commit. Aim for at least three days, whether it’s a jog, walk or an indoor session.
Make it early
When you have lots of shopping and errands to run, aim to get your workout done and dusted first thing in the morning. A 30-minute power session is all you need.
Quick, compact workouts
If you can’t manage your usual gym session or 10km run in the middle of all the festive activities, an intense, compressed workout will do. As long as it targets the whole body, you’ll be fine.
Make it a family affair
Stay motivated when you wake up early by including the kids or visiting family members in your planned workout. The more, the merrier.

There’s nothing like a great music playlist to set the pace of your exercises and get you in the right headspace for a good sweat. Create your favourite power beats to keep you pumping and just have a jam.
