More than often when your nail polish cracks, chips or peels it could be something you are doing wrong. Here are a few rules to nailing your manicure.

Step 1

Remove old nail colour and wash hands thoroughly, go over nail with nail polish remover again to remove any oil residue.

Step 2

A base coat is very necessary, it’s like using primer for your make-up. Apply one coat to the nail and leave to dry completely, 2-3 minutes should be enough.

Step 3

Apply your first coat of colour onto your dry base coat and leave to dry for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4

Repeat the above step.

Step 5

Then follow with a top coat to seal colour and add shine.
