Always start here! Prime your eyes, face and lips. It will allow you to work on a clean and smooth surface. Skipping this is not an option if you want your make-up to last.

Brow kit

The next step is to fill and shape your brows. Whatever kit you choose, just make sure it helps you create a perfect arch.

Play with colours or go for muted tones, but keep it in line with the look you’re going for. Imagine a full on make-up look without eyeshadow – boring!

Liquid, gel or pencil – take your pick. You need eyeliner to define the eyes. If you’re a fan of liquid liner you know just how messy it can get hence it’s best to do it right after the eye shadow and before the mascara to let it dry.

To complete the eyes, apply some mascara and give it time to dry first before moving on to the rest of the face. Try different brushes and see which one works best for you.

It’s all in the name, your face needs the perfect foundation for everything else to work.

Foundation alone will not hide those stubborn blemishes hence you need concealor. It’ll make all your imperfections non-existent. Take it further and include a colour correcting concealer as well, for those really dark marks.

To get that glow dust a bit over cheekbones or on the bridge of the nose if you’re using it to contour.

Dust this on the apples of your cheeks.

Lip liner

Buy these in your favourite colours cause you probably already own lipstick in those shades. This comes first or second depending on the lip product you intend on using.

Lipstick, gloss

Don’t be afraid to be a lipstick hoarder because there's so much you can do with your different lipstick shades. You can mix them to create a different colour, or create an ombre look

Setting spray

You want your make-up to last right? Go on and set everything with a setting spray.
