This year the VH1 Hip Hop Honors was all about honouring some of hip-hops biggest female stars of all-time. Lil-Kim, SWV, Eve and more hit the red carpet in their best looks for the night. Here are some of the looks we spotted on the red carpet as well as our best and worst dressed of the evening: Eve Eve wore a sheer black jumpsuit with Gold detailing by Michael Halpern. Her style has certainly evolved over the years and we are loving that she is taking more fashion risks on the red carpet. Kelly Rowland Kelly Rowland did not disappoint in a short black dress by Ellie Youssef couture. She was styled by Beyonce's stylist Ty Hunter who made sure she showed of those toned legs in that LBD. Chanel Iman The model kept it simple in a crop top and cigarette pants, paired with scrappy heels which reminded us why she is one of the most succesfull models out there. Keke Palmer Keke Palmer who usually goes for lots of edge on the red carpet, toned down her look in a Gold dress and kept her accessories simple. She looked refreshing! Lala Lala opted for a sexy short dress which looked like something she has worn before. We are obsessing over those shoes though! Amber Rose Muva who was the host of the red carpet, kept her signature sexy look in a body con dress which showed of those famous curves. Fantasia Fantasia looked amazing in an Olive blazer crepe dress by Mugler. She paired it with a Giusseppi Zanoti strappy heels which have become a favourite amongst celebs. She just might be our best dressed of the evening. Ashanti Ashanti who has clearly got her groove back lately judging by her sexy Instagram posts, wore a figure hugging sequinned jumpsuit. Lil Kim Lil Kim dressed up her Coco Chanel pearl necklace in a black velvet dress paired with her signature thigh high boots. Keisha Cole We almost didn't recognise Keyshia Cole in this look which had a lot going on. The gold dress with feathers and the head band did nothing for her except cover up her lovely braids. Da Brat Da Brat looked like she walked straight out of her music video, in a colourful tracksuit, metallic sneakers and pigtails. We would loved to see her style evolve so this has to be one of our worst dressed looks of the evening. SWV The legendary groups chose to hit the red carpet together in style. Salt n Pepa looked great in all black whilst SWV all chose to wear different looks which complimented each of their feisty personalities. Salt n Pepa Which group do you think had the best overall styling? Hair, make-up and clothes? We think Salt n Pepa slayed in all black everything!
